About the Scholarship

The BEASUSD Scholarship supports African American high school seniors in San Joaquin County who are planning to attend college. Our scholarship program has been helping students achieve their educational goals for over three decades.

We believe in investing in the future of our community by supporting the next generation of leaders, scholars, and professionals.

WHO CAN APPLY

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for a BEASUSD Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria.

African American Heritage

Applicants must be African American students.

High School Senior

Must be a current high school senior graduating in the current academic year.

San Joaquin County Resident

Must attend a high school in San Joaquin County.

College-Bound

Must be planning to attend a college or university after graduation.

Official high school transcript
Personal statement/essay
Two letters of recommendation
Proof of college acceptance or application
Documentation of community involvement
Financial need statement (if applicable)
