For over three decades, the Black Employees Association of Stockton Unified School District has been a pillar of support for African American education professionals and students in San Joaquin County.
A Community of Dedicated Educators
BEASUSD is an organization of African Americans working in education and education support fields throughout San Joaquin County who support one another and the children in the community.
Our members include teachers, administrators, counselors, support staff, and other education professionals who share a commitment to excellence and equity in education.

Our association focuses on community support, advocacy, and student success through various programs and initiatives.
Scholarships
Awarding at least five annual scholarships of $500 or more to African American high school seniors in San Joaquin County planning to attend college.
Employee, Student & Parent Advocacy
Supporting equitable educational experiences for all members of our community through active advocacy and representation.
Educational Programs & Workshops
Providing college admissions guidance, test-taking workshops, and other educational resources to help students succeed.
Leadership & Cultural Programs
Cultural celebrations and programs that honor our heritage and support community development.
Black Graduates Recognition Program
Celebrating the achievements of African American graduates with special recognition ceremonies and honors.
